The narrator was just as amazing, beautifully read, loved her voice and pronunciation of every word was clear and concise.The No. The plot was well thought out and had many twists and turns. Beautifully written, tight writing style, which I love, the author also has a good if not brilliant command of the English language, each word was perfectly chosen. I listened to the whole book in two days. Well! What a joy! Although its subject matter will probably attract much younger people as the storyline involves teenagers, I at my grand old age (?) throughly enjoyed it. I did do just that and was intreged enough to download it from Audible. I said I would definitely look it up, we then said goodbye. I remembered seeing, in the window of our local book shop, a vivid, red patterned, front cover promoting the signing. I had my dogs with me and she hers, a very large Husky! We talked about our dogs (she had another at home) and she happened to mention that she was in Chepstow to support her friend Cari who was, that day, attending a promo signing of her new book, Threadneedle. loved it! now to try wait for what's next in the story!ġ week ago I met a lady in the grounds of Chepstow Castle. overall this story was wonderful, I was lost in it time and time again, it gave me the same sensation as reading Harry potter for the first time as a child.

they did feel a bit young to be dealing with the issues they did but I think its probably sadly a reflection of the stolen childhoods that some 16 yours old don't get.

the only think I will say is it need a big bold trigger warning as it deals with many mature and difficult topics that may be uncomfortable for people expecting an innocent story about 16 year olds. I won't say anything more to spoil it but this story is far from predictable (I'm my opinion at least). it almost convinces you that it is until everything flips on you and you realise all these tiny detailed weaved into the story lead to plot twist after plot twist. I will admit at first I was a little sceptical it was just another YA magic book that would be predictable. Loved it! Harry potter for a mature audience
